About the project

A familiar business, a clearer identity

Nijansa is an established Serbian supplier of building materials and products for construction, renovation and home improvement. With a history stretching back more than three decades and retail locations across Serbia, its audience includes people making practical decisions that depend on availability, quality and trust.

We worked on brand evolution and communication, with a focus on refining the visual identity and giving the business a more consistent contemporary presence across social and marketing materials. The goal was not to erase the reputation Nijansa had already built, but to create a visual system that better represents the company today.

Our ChallEnge

Creating order in a category built on variety

A building-supplies business communicates a wide range of products, from paint and flooring to tools and fixtures. Individual product promotions can quickly become visually disconnected, especially across different categories, suppliers and retail campaigns.

Nijansa needed a recognizable and practical identity that could make communication feel consistent while remaining flexible enough for a large and constantly changing offer.

Our Solution

A more disciplined rebrand

We developed a cleaner, more modern visual direction grounded in reliability, clarity and professional presentation. The identity system was designed to improve recognition without sacrificing the directness customers expect from a functional retail brand.

Brand marketing & social communication

We translated that direction into digital and marketing communication, using a more consistent approach to graphic hierarchy, product messaging and campaign presentation. Whether the content introduces a product category, a seasonal offer or the broader brand, it should be immediately identifiable as Nijansa.

A framework that can scale

The work is designed to support repeatable communication rather than isolated creative pieces. A systematic approach makes it easier to retain visual consistency across many messages and formats.

What it achieved

Nijansa gained a clearer visual direction and a more cohesive framework for brand marketing. The work strengthens the link between an established reputation and a modern customer-facing identity, creating more consistency across everyday communication.

FAQs

Does brand evolution always require rebuilding an existing website?

No. Brand evolution can focus on positioning, identity and marketing communications without a website rebuild. Nijansa’s 134 Agency scope centres on branding and social work; we do not credit ourselves with developing its existing website. Our Brand Evolution service is tailored to what an established brand actually needs.

How can a hardware or construction brand keep social content consistent?

Consistency comes from repeatable rules for product imagery, information hierarchy, typography and campaign formats. Nijansa’s updated visual direction gives very different products a common framework, so social posts and marketing assets remain recognisable without looking identical.

What brand evolution and marketing work did 134 Agency do for Nijansa?

134 Agency worked on Nijansa’s brand evolution, visual identity refinement and social marketing communication. The focus was a clearer and more reusable design system for presenting product categories, offers and information across a broad building-materials business.

When should an established building supplies company consider a rebrand?

An established building supplies brand may need an evolution when its visual presentation no longer reflects the scale of its products or the trust it has earned. For Nijansa, 134 Agency refined the identity and communication system without discarding the familiarity of a long-standing Serbian business.
